Karanka Residential Maldives explored a compact contemporary home organised around a long, dark service spine and a brighter living edge facing full-height glazing. In collaboration with HeatherGrey Studio, the design support focused on spatial visualisation and construction documentation, testing how living, dining and kitchen functions could share a restrained footprint without feeling compressed.

A controlled material palette of dark joinery, pale stone, warm timber and focused lighting gives the apartment a calm, gallery-like character. Colour is introduced selectively through artwork, rugs and upholstery, while the open plan preserves long views towards the glazing and the landscape beyond.
