THE ARCHITECTURE / HIVE

The architectural design has a directed relation to its interior space planning which is intended to improve efficiency in its operation process, through collaboration in a creative environment with sustainability at heart. Hence the first order of business, is to connect man, closer with nature in an urban environment. And what better way than to seek nature for inspiration.

There are many lessons we can learn from the humble bumble bees but the core values that sum the derivation of the design concept begins with their natural algorithms to optimise their work flow. Bees have the ability to find the quickest route in collecting nectar. They explore fearlessly and efficiently through route experiments before discovering the shortest path from the flower to their hive. They are described to be hardworking ,humble and most importantly collaborative, amongst other things. And they sting ... the perfect touch of rebelion to infuse in a creative culture. This is the start of the design journey.
